How often should I have an eye exam?

Most healthy adults do well with a comprehensive exam every one to two years. Annual exams are recommended for children, contact lens wearers, adults over 60, and anyone with diabetes, a family history of eye disease, or a changing prescription.

Do you see children?

Yes — patients of every age, from a child's first exam through the senior years. Dr. Gospodarek is also MiSight® 1 Day certified for children's myopia management, which slows nearsightedness in kids.

Will my eyes be dilated?

Dilation is performed when it's indicated for your eyes and your history. The practice also uses Eidon ultra-widefield retinal imaging, which captures a detailed, true-color picture of the back of the eye — and gives every future visit a baseline to compare against.

Do you accept insurance?

We may accept insurance plans for exams; when a plan isn't accepted, you'll receive a super-bill to submit for reimbursement. Call 920-355-3055 with your plan details and we'll help you sort it out.
